As you've all noticed, Aminet is currently down. You can still obtain older files from most mirrors, but they're not getting any new files. The reason is that the main site has been hacked and has to be reinstalled from scratch.
The downtime is taking longer than expected already. Unfortunately I can't give you predictions when it will be fully back since I'm not the one doing the repairs. So please be patient. Should an even longer downtime seem likely, we have the option to move the main site back to wuarchive, but that would take some time also.
