The Amiga Extravaganza99, scheduled for October 8, 9 and 10 of 1999 has made arrangements for a fine hotel for those coming from out of town, as well as banquet facilities.
The hotel chosen is the Comfort Inn West/Airport at 5855 Rockville Road (just off the I-465 bypass circling Indianapolis, IN. A set room rate of $58.95, plus tax has been set for attendees at the show. Just let them know it is for Amiga Extravaganza when you make the reservations. There are easily gotten to meeting rooms for getting together with other Amiga users, vendors, developers and hopefully some reps from Amiga Inc. Breakfast is provided free. A nice exercise area as well as a pleasant inside swimming pool. For those who find the hotel filling up too soon, or looking for cheaper lodging, They have a sister hotel just across the lot, The Sleep Inn. We will have two meeting rooms set up for after hours events after the show closes for the day. Cut off day for the show rate is October 1, 1999.
We are planning a banquet nearby. The rate is being worked out, but we expect it to be a reasonable $20 to $25 (perhaps cheaper). Go to the show homepage and check things out. Email us from there of your interest or questions. We want this to be THE AFFORDABLE AMIGA SHOW! If you are flying in, let the hotel know so a shuttle can pick you up at the Airport. If you need transportation while at the show let us know and we will try to accomodate you.
