September 20, 1998 - The Champaign-Urbana Computer Users Group will be attending AmiCON's 3rd annual Midwest Amiga Exposition, held in Columbus, Ohio on October 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 1998. Attendees will include CUCUG President, Jim Lewis, CUCUG Networking Consultant Mike "Skyguy" Latinovich, CUCUG's Video Guru John Lynn and other members of the group.
The highlight of the group's presentation will be the exciting raffle of an Amiga A4000 and Newtek Video Toaster. Tickets will be available for purchase via the CUCUG representatives on-hand at the show. A winner will be drawn on October 4th, approximately 1 hour prior to the show's close. There will also be a great opportunity to join the CUCUG organization at the booth. Memberships for the 1999 calendar year will be offered for $20 and will include the remainder of 1998 at no additional charge. Amiga fans who are already members of CUCUG will enjoy reduced admission to the show. CUCUG members attending the show will receive a discount price of $5.00 for single day admission and $8.00 for a two-day pass. Members must present their CUCUG membership card at the door in order to receive the discount prices.
