From Friday July 10th until Sunday July 12th, Team AMIGA will produce a live NEWS FEED to several IRC Nets around the world. The purpose of this NEWS FEED is to give Amiga users everywhere an opportunity to see live what is happening at AmiWest.
Team AMIGA reporters will be inside every seminar and class given at AmiWest (including ICOA Developer Meetings) as well as on the show floor, making sure that you at home know what is happening at AmiWest98! We will also have some guests stop by for a chat or two!
Reporting to you will be: Asha Develder, Casey Halverson, Alan Crandall, Gary Peake, and a couple of surprise guests and reporters too!
Our WEB CAM will be focused on the action right from the seminar room!

The following channels on all listed nets will recieve the Team AMIGA Live News Feed:
#AMIWESTTA ... This will be the main News Feed Channel on all servers
#AMIWESTTA will be VOICE ONLY for AmiWest reporters so
they can present a coherent news package to you.
#AMIWESTTA2 ... Will be for general chatter and where IRC ops will be
to /msg any questions you may have to our AmiWest
reporters and guests. New users on any net will
recieve help on this channel!

ArcNet
Simply log in to a net near you or a net you are already familiar with on channel #amiwestta and #amiwestta2. That's all you have to do! Oppers will be standing by to assist any NEW IRC users, so don't be afraid to try this out!
The News Feed will be in operation from approximately 12 NOON (GMT-6) on Friday until 5pm (GMT-6) on Sunday. The show floor will shut down daily at approxiamtely 5pm (GMT-6) each day, but we will see if we can bring you a few surprises and have some fun after hours as well!
